In this article, I’m going to share my HONEST Beats Powerbeats Fit review for those who are wondering whether they are WORTH IT. I’ll also be comparing the Beats Powerbeats Fit vs Powerbeats Pro 2, AirPods Pro 3 and 2, Beats Studio Buds, AirPods 4 ANC, Sony Linkbuds Fit, Samsung Galaxy Buds 4 Pro, and more!
I’m going to do my best to share whether these earbuds are worth it, and ideally who these headphones are for. I bought these earbuds with my own money, and was NOT sponsored, paid, or received a free copy for review. All thoughts are my own.

Beats Powerbeats Fit Review in Short
The Beats Powerbeats Fit has a consistent seal and comfort thank to its Secure-Fit Wingtips, but is fairly average in its noise cancelling and sound quality. Personally, I’d much rather upgrade to the flagship Beats Powerbeats Pro 2 or AirPods Pro 3 for $30 more. Competes with Beats Studio Buds, AirPods 4 ANC, Sony Linkbuds Fit, AirPods Pro 2nd Gen, Sony WF-1000XM6, Samsung Galaxy Buds 4 Pro, and Bose QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds 2nd Gen.

Comfort + Features
Comfort
One of the major strengths of the Beats Powerbeats Fit is its comfort and “Secure-Fit Wingtips”.
These wingtips help to keep the Powerbeats Fit securely lodged into your ears, with less movement during workouts compared to your average wireless earbud design.
So if you’re looking to use these primarily for workouts and running, they’re easily a better choice than most earbuds that have a tendency to move around and even fall out.
One other earbud that is also excellent here is the more expensive flagship Powerbeats Pro 2 with the ear-hooks.
Surprisingly, the Powerbeats Fit stays pretty secure even without those large ear-hooks, and they’re both excellent choices for working out.
Features
The Beats Powerbeats Fit was originally released in October 2025, so it has many modern wireless earbud features:
- Apple H1 Chip
- IPX4 water resistance rating (resistant to sweat and splashes of water)
- Built-in microphones for taking calls
- Personalized Spatial Audio with Head-Tracking
- Bluetooth 5.4
- Multi-point connection
- Adaptive Noise Cancelling
- Transparency Mode
- Native apps for both iOS and Android
It’s really important to emphasize that unlike AirPods, the Beats lineup of earbuds does have native Android app support. This can be a game-changer for getting the most out of the earbuds vs AirPods which are more limited on Android.
Microphone Quality
Frankly, the microphone quality is nowhere near class-leading like the AirPods Pro 3 or Samsung Galaxy Buds 4 Pro, to name a couple.
The Powerbeats Fit uses a slightly older Apple H1 chip compared to the more advanced H2 chip found in the flagship Powerbeats Pro 2 model.
So the mic quality is serviceable in quieter environments, but it lacks the clarity, fullness, and wind-resistance of the Powerbeats Pro 2 and stem-design earbuds like the AirPods Pro 3.
Battery Life
- With ANC on: 6 hours of battery life on a single charge
- With ANC off: 7 hours on a single charge / 30 hours total with charging case
- Fast Charge: 5 minutes = 1 hour of playback
This battery life is slightly above average for the class that tends to hover around 6 hours on a single charge and 24 hours with charging case.
This is a bit overshadowed by the best-in-class Powerbeats Pro 2 that boasts up to 10 hours on a single charge and a whopping 45 hours with charging case.
Comfort + Features Score: 9.5 out of 10
Active Noise Cancelling (ANC) Performance
The Powerbeats Fit benefits from internally using Apple’s H1 chip that is also found in the AirPods lineup like the AirPods Max 1st Gen, for example.
This leads to the Powerbeats Fit having decent active noise cancelling for its small form factor and price point.
Also, the Secure-Fit Wingtips keep a consistent physical seal versus other earbuds that have a tendency to get dislodged during movement. This results in a more consistent noise cancelling performance.
That said, the newer H2 chip found on the Powerbeats Pro 2 and AirPods Pro 3 results in a significant step up in active noise cancelling performance.
Overall, I’d say the Powerbeats Fit has average strength of noise cancelling for the class, but above average consistency of noise cancelling due to the wingtips keeping the seal in place.

Sound Quality
Having previously been impressed by the flagship Beats Powerbeats Pro 2’s sound quality, I was curious how the Powerbeats Fit would stack up.
Upon initial listening, I was a bit surprised at how different the Powerbeats Fit sounds compared to the Pro 2.
The stock sound profile is more consumer-friendly and V-shaped versus the balance I found on the Pro 2.
Unfortunately, I found the sound quality and detail to be a step down from the Pro 2.
I think the Powerbeats Fit is serviceable for modern genre music while working out, but it’s not really anything special or impressive for the class.
I don’t mind listening to these during a workout, but they’re lacking quite a bit in their resolution and depth for real music-listening.

Value
The Powerbeats Fit retails for $199.99 USD but can be sometimes found on sale for as low as $169.95.
Considering that both the Powerbeats Pro 2 and AirPods Pro 3 are currently available for just $30 more, I’m not too crazy about the Powerbeats Fit’s value compared to those two options.
I will say that these are a great workout earbud due to their secure fit and comfort, but they’re lacking in the noise cancelling and sound quality compared to what’s available today.

Is the Beats Powerbeats Fit Worth it?
As a workout earbud, you can do a lot worse than the Beats Powerbeats Fit.
But I found myself a little underwhelmed with them compared to the flagship Powerbeats Pro 2, which I find better in every single way for only $30 more.
Not to mention, that extra $30 can also get you the AirPods Pro 3, a proper flagship and top earbud in today’s market.
Personally, I’d rather upgrade to the Powerbeats Pro 2 or AirPods Pro 3, which have significantly better noise cancelling and sound quality.
The Sony Linkbuds Fit are worth a look as well, as I did enjoy those and they have a similar design.
